A Day of Fun!
Today is Braden's 8th Birthday so we will be spending the day celebrating at Disney (living in Central Florida does have its perks!!). I know a big part of our day will be spent at the Star Wars store spending Birthday Money!
Happy Birthday Braden! I love you!

Gameplan
I will not lie to you, you will need to have a plan and a system to save a lot of money at the grocery store. If you are at all like me, planning is not your forte.
Enter the internet...the nice, wonderful people at Hot Coupon World do all the work required for getting your groceries for cheap!! If you have never visited Hot Coupon World, grab a cup of coffee and settle in to be amazed! This is my go to site for shopping. I do not plan on recreating their wheel here, but I will give a heads up when there is an amazing deal.
When it comes to making a menu, I am very lucky that my kids are willing to eat just about everything. It is my goal to make sure my boys have at least 5 different color fruits/veggies each day and that everything we eat be Weight Watchers friendly.
Our grocery budget is $50 per week (although I set it up monthly, so usually $200 per month) and we do some minor stockpiling when things are a good price.
I am off to shop and will report my details when I get back

A new adventure
Here it is, my very first blog post! I have to admit I really have no idea what I am doing and if this even shows up on my blog I will be shocked!
If I can make this work, this will be the place where I share my grocery list and savings for the week and our menu for the week. There will no doubt be mentions of our homeschooling journey and the general Chaos of our days!
